OPEN YOUR HEART

"Divine truth is what all truth is."

"Divine truth is what all truth is."

This adage might have come from a writing by St. Augustine, who encouraged early Christians to embrace truth wherever they could find it. In the end, this proverb expresses the idea that the divine cannot be contained in a box and that the holy can be found in multiple places, beliefs, or religions. The divine comes wherever the divine pleases.

A Christian omnist is someone who believes that the existence of the divine in all religions and beliefs reveals the true meaning of Christianity that has been lost throughout time. That every living creature on the globe, which the divine created, has clues to the divine Origin. Unification of all life, religions and beliefs in Peace and nonviolence is essential for our redemption and survival.

We do not assert the completeness of any religious perspective. We do not claim that there is no need for the divine or that all religious traditions arrive at the same conclusion. The idea that revelations from the divine are received by a wide diversity of people through a range of historical forms is all we are conveying.

The most significant components are understanding and respecting individuals from all walks of life, empathizing with them, and learning from their beliefs, experiences, and spiritual connections and insights. Trying to learn how to accept new ideas, inquiry, and doubts in order to strengthen rather than damage our faith. Caring and fearless to investigate tough topics and apparent discrepancies about the history and nature of all faiths, the divine, or the universe.

The ability to accept that we can be wrong about what we believe to be true and not be scared to stand by our beliefs is a sign of love for the divine. Furthermore, it is important to be able to observe Christendom from a range of theological and belief viewpoints, even if we will never be able to truly know the divine. There is always more to learn from the divine.

prayer

The Church of Christian Omnism and its establishment of the order of interfaith peacekeeping promotes embodied prayer, which means that prayer is expressed through actual action and service to others rather than being restricted to formal acts in any sort of place of worship.

The Church of Christian Omnism sees the abolition of all forms of religious and spiritual persecution as a kind of prayer, witness, and reverence for all faiths and the divine. The Church of Christian Omnism views prayer as a lifelong practice, including dedication to international interfaith peace efforts, rather than only in church or temple settings.

The Church of Christian Omnism believes that the divine manifests itself via action, and that defending one's neighbor is critical to understanding and respecting all religions or beliefs.
